Delete your Lumpay account

You can request that we delete your Lumpay account and the personal data associated with it. This page is the public request form required by the Google Play Store.

How to request

  1. Use the form below, or email support@uselumpay.com from the email on your profile.
  2. You can also tap Delete account in the Lumpay app (Profile → Danger zone).
  3. We will confirm the request with you before permanently removing your account.

Request account deletion

This opens an email to support@uselumpay.com with your details. We will confirm before deleting your account.

What we delete

After confirmation, we delete your account access and associated personal data, including:

  • Name, email, phone number, and profile details
  • Identity verification records (BVN/NIN documents and images)
  • Next of kin and guarantor details
  • Device session and login data

What we may retain

Nigerian financial regulations require us to keep certain transaction records for up to 7 years after account closure. We do not use retained records for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If you have open group obligations or wallet funds, we may ask you to settle those before deletion is completed.
